Forward receives capital for further growth.

Forward has entered into cooperation with two Danish technology venture companies to ensure speeding up further development of the Enterprise Search product platform Forward Search, together with continued sales expansion that Forward has experienced since the second half of 2008, successfully delivering solutions to large customers in the Nordic and in Benelux e.g.:

Alka Insurance A/S, Bekaert SA (Belgium), Brüel & Kjær A/S, CERA - part of KBC Bank Group (Belgium), Danish Ministry of Finance - The Palaces and Properties Agency, EFTA - The European Free Trade Association (Belgium), FANUC Ltd. - FANUC Robotics Europe S.A. (Luxembourg), Fleet Street Publications Ltd. (England), Group Joris Ide NV (Belgium), Greenland Self Government (Greenland), LO - The Danish Confederation of Trade Unions, Premier Media Group (England), Risø DTU - National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, The Danish National Social Appeals Board, Vaekstfonden (Capital for innovation) and Widex A/S.

Forward cooperate with a large number of national and international partners and has technology partnerships with some of the largest and most advanced Content Management Systems (CMS) og Internet Portal vendors, including EPiServer og Sitecore.

Knowledge and expertise are stored in different documents and systems across your organisation, but Forward Search provides a single access to all your information, while still enforcing the security policy of each unique information source.

Forward Search covers different needs, from Website Search, Corporate Secure Search, eCommerce Search or Custom Search Solutions. Forward Search includes extensive analytics of user search behaviour, so content can be adapted to this behaviour. Furthermore it is possible to offer the user suggest alternative search term, to improve search results, based on advanced linguistic features.

The management team will consists of Henrik Bach (CEO) and Thomas Jensen (CTO), who both founded Forward in 2004. Christian Nejstgaard will enter the Board of Directors as Chairman. Christian currently holds a position as Manager of the division for Information Management at HP Software Nordics. In the past he has held managing positions at mainly American technology based companies, such as IBM, SAS Institute and StorageTek, and hold seats in the boards of several technology based growth companies with international aspirations.

Thomas Tronier, CEO of Forty2, will also enter the Board of Directors. Forty2 is an investor in techcompanies and engaged in both start-ups and established businesses.
